Target Management

Setting targets is essential to create a highly effective sales force. This is due to the fact the effectiveness of each sales person can clearly defined and measured. So targets should be set dependant on the goals that drive the profitability of your business whether it is to grow the customer base, retain existing customers, enter new markets, introduce new products or services, etc.
  • Setting targets

SymVolli allows you to set targets from a very high level, the business, through to sales team, down to the individual sales person, and channel partners. It will also allow you to enter targets for product groups or individual products and for companies such as key accounts. Targets can be set for order values, revenue, margins, or units for varying periods such as monthly, quarterly, or annually. SymVolli supports multi-currency so targets can be set in any currency.

  • Using the targets to measure performance

With the wealth of information in SymVolli on current and won opportunities, it is easy to produce a report that will compare targets against forecasted and won values (orders, revenue, margins, and units) so far. You can view the variance of the performance to date against the targets. What is more important is that you can see into the future as to the possible outcome by the end of a given period, e.g. the end of the financial year. SymVolli will allow you to consolidate target and performance information based on different currencies into reports using a base currency that is used by management for all its reports.

  • Specific performance reports to suit your organisation’s needs

You can create reports that not only compare targets against actual and forecasted values but also compare similar periods from the past and whether you wish to compare absolute or cumulative values. So whatever your reporting requirements are for performance measurement SymVolli will have the information required to produce them.
