The Origin of SymVolli - Born Out of the Frustration of Sales Management

One of my greatest frustration as a manager, was having to do things that are completely unnecessary that hindered the performance of the job I was entrusted to do.

As a young Sales Manager, I used to go through the same mundane processes every month, asking the same questions of my sales people, checking every opportunity to see where it was in the sales cycle and re-qualifying the information to check that they were on track.

I could not believe that we could not translate the sales criteria of a business which we call the qualification profile into a reliable sales model. So in 1992, SalesVision was born. The early versions of the software, freed me up to do what I was paid to do – coach sales teams to deliver on target. SalesVision allowed me to use by experience to bring in sales or make key decisions in sales cycles. Rather than wasting time and effort in repeatedly qualifying quality of data provided by Sales people, I was able to focus on the opportunities they were chasing and help win the business.

As a manager, SalesVision freed me proactively to manage my company. Today, 16 years since its inception, SalesVision has been rebranded as SymVolli to better represent its current expanded abilities, but it still delivers on its core objective – "enhancing business performance to become more efficient by being effective".
